Institute to offer intensive one-week on-site classes in Terrorism and Infectious Diseases

This summer this Institute for Biosecurity at the Saint Louis University School of Public Health will conduct its first face-to-face Biosecurity intensive summer sessions in Terrorism and Infectious Diseases.

Offered on-site at the Institute on the Saint Louis University Campus, both electives are part of the online Master’s degree program in Bioterrorism and Disaster Preparedness, and will cover matters of security, public health, disaster medicine for professionals, and more. Institute faculty members will be joined by an outstanding roster of domestic and international experts, and participants from around the nation.

Class dates are:

Global Terrorism in the 21st Century July 30 – August 3, 2007
Bioterrorism & Emerging Infectious Diseases August 6 – August 10, 2007

We especially invite you to share this information with your professional colleagues, as both of these courses may be taken for non-credit professional development at the greatly reduced rate of $1,500 per course.

A special web page on the Institute’s website is available which provides much greater detail about course schedules, speaker list, and housing facilities. It will also allow non-credit professional development attendees to make online payments for the course fees.
