In response to student feedback and ongoing requests for additional Biosecurity and Disaster Preparedness learning opportunities, the Institute for Biosecurity is in the midst of developing additional electives for the degree and certificate program.
We anticipate that these courses will be offered initially during the Fall 2008 semester, and will be taught by the full-time Institute faculty. The three courses being developed have the following working titles:
- Medical & Public Health Intelligence
- Intermediate Emerging Infectious Diseases
- Disease Resilience of Disadvantaged Populations

A detailed overview of each class will be available in the Institute’s Winter newsletter, and on the Institute website, http://bioterrorism.slu.edu. |
