Essential Elements of Bioterrorism Readiness for Healthcare and Public Health Professionals

The Institute for Bio-Security, Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC), University of Louisville, and Georgetown University co-sponsored a 2-day conference entitled, Essential Elements of Bioterrorism Readiness for Healthcare and Public Health Professionals in Columbus, Ohio.  Conference attendees included first responders, healthcare and public health professionals.  Two Institute for Bio-Security faculty/staff provided seven of the presentations at this conference.  Initial feedback on the conference and the innovative materials and presentation styles was enthusiastic.  The sponsoring organizations hope to extend this conference to other states in the future.  If your state or organization would be interested in hosting this cutting-edge conference in your region, please contact IBS for more information.
