Biosecurity & Disaster Preparedness Course
Professional Development Program

Professional Development - What is it?

Professional development, continuing education, personal growth—these are just some of the names for advanced educational offerings at Saint Louis University that are available as non-credit development courses.

Professional development students here at the Institute for Biosecurity participate in the same courses that our degree-seeking students are taking, but they do not offer formal academic credit (nor can the professional development courses be later transformed into academic credit.)

You will enrolled in our distance-based courses, and you will be assigned the same reading material, discussion questions, and research papers as our degree students. In this way, professionals who wish to be exposed to the latest educational offerings of the Institute can do so without the pressure and deadlines that degree-seeking students undergo.  We are able to offer these courses to professionals at a significant discount from the regular tuition charged by the university.

We’re proud and excited about the high level of coursework offered through our Institute for Biosecurity, and you are welcome to be a part of it.

We're Saint Louis University School of Public Health for busy professionals like you, and we're committed
to your success!
