Bioterrorism Readiness Plan: A Template for Healthcare Facilities
The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) recognizes the importance of awareness and preparation for bioterrorism on the part of healthcare facilities. In cooperation with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), template to facilitate preparation of bioterrorism readiness plans for individual institutions.

Mass Casualty Disaster Plan Checklist: A Template for Healthcare Facilities
Emergency management for healthcare facilities includes elements of mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. These plans should take into account such factors as the appropriateness and adequacy of physical facilities, organizational structures, human resources, and communication systems.

Suggestions for Bioterrorism Readiness Planning (April 2002)
APIC Bioterrorism Planning Template for Healthcare Facilities currently under review by CDC. Will soon be available at www.apic.org, www.bioterrorism.slu.edu, and www.cdc.gov/ncidod.
