diseases to ensure that they reflect the most current biomedical

University of Findlay, Center for Terrorism Preparedness
The Center for Terrorism Preparedness offers hands-on,

University
of Texas Medical Branch/Galveston Recently
received approval to establish a Biosafety Level 4 laboratory as
a part of its campus improvement plan. Construction may begin next
year and the project should be completed in the Fall of 2001. This
lab will be directed by Dr. C.J. Peters, a renowned virologist from
the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta.
Peters has been chief of the CDC’s Special Pathogens Branch since
1992. He is expected to officially begin work at UTMB around January
1, 2001. |
